Here is the formula as far as how much weight it can tow
5000 LB coupler minus the weight of the Dolly 500 LBS minus a fudge factor of 10 LBS is a (4490 LB Vehicle on a horizontal pull
Dolly has a 3500 LB Axle minus a 500 LB Dolly minus a 10 LB Fudge factor is ( 2990 LBS can sit in the cradle)
NOTE Vehicles with over 17" Tires there is a $ 40.00 Upcharge for the longer straps.
