Landscape Trailers
If you have made do without a landscape trailer, you know the frustration of trying to haul equipment in the back of your personal vehicle. Loading and unloading are like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, and there is never quite enough room for everything. Unlike a truck or SUV, an aluminum landscape trailer: - Sits low to the ground, so its easier to load and unload- Keeps the mess out of your pickup bed or SUV interior
- Weighs surprisingly little and can be moved around by hand
- Can get into back yards or hard-to-reach places where a vehicle cannot go
We manufacture all different sizes of landscape trailers; and because they are made of aluminum, you can get more space for less weight. For example, our model MS48 weighs only 400 pounds, a size that can be pulled by any car. This model provides a floor space of 50 by 98 inches, wide enough to hold equipment for almost any back yard project. The larger MS510 to MS612 models are still light enough to move by hand, but big enough to move side by sides or garden tractors.
Utility Trailers
If landscaping is not your business, then a utility trailer may be right for you. An all-purpose aluminum utility trailer can be customized to fit whatever you haul. Toys like ATVs, snowmobiles, and bikes, as well as rental equipment like pressure washers all, can be towed safely and easily with a lightweight utility trailer built around your preferences.Trailer winches are a popular feature that can be added to utility trailers. They make loading and unloading much easier, and can eliminate the need for a second person to help with heavy equipment. Side railings can be added if you carry smaller items like boxes or mulch. Simply decide what you will be hauling, how you plan to unload it and let us do the rest.
Customization
Depending on the size of your work equipment or toys, Millroad Manufacturing can customize a trailer to suit your needs. We can build a trailer of any length and width, ranging from 4 feet to 6 feet 8 inches, and can change the number or location of ramps and tie-downs. Examples of additional options to choose from include:
- Custom toolboxes
- Shelves
- Floor ties in various styles
- LED lighting
- Ladder, canoe, or bicycle racks
The type of braking system is another customizable feature, with a choice between electronic and hydraulic brakes. Some customers prefer hydraulic braking because an electric actuator is not required in the towing vehicle. Others choose electric brakes, which are controlled by a brake light circuit in the vehicle.
