UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH A DELUXE TARP KIT (NOT SHOWN) AND HAS 8000# AXLES (INCLUDES 3 3/8" BRAKES DRUMS - SAME AS A TANDEM DUAL 10K AXLE), 17.5" 16-PLY TIRE UPGRADE WITH SOLID WHEEL, HEAVY WALL FRAME UPGRADE, HEAVIER SPRINGS AND AXLE WALL, HD PLATE COUPLER (NOT SHOWN IN STOCK PHOTOS), ETC.
This model got a few upgrades for 2021, including: 8" tube tongue upgrade, 12K jack, 6" scissor (ILO 5" like most in the industry) and heavy wall main frame upgrade.
HD Deckover Dump with Fold-Down Sides - A deckover dump is less common than our low profile dumps, but ideal for certain users. They are ideal for farm/ag use and landscapers in particular, where a fold down side could be particularly useful when loading skid material or round bales. The higher deck height, while a bit more tippy due to the slightly narrower frame, works well for those seeking to dump on a tighter pile as it requires less pulling forward. The 8' deckover series dumps packs a lot of value with all its standard features -smart integrated side panels, radial tires, tubular mainframe and tongue, sealed LD bullet lights, tarp shroud, spare tire mount, D-rings, scissor hoist, under frame bridge, etc. They are only offered in a 8x14' bumper pull or gooseneck, and a 14000# GVW. Due to the fold down side function, the trailer receives more framing and additional features than the 7' low profiles, such as a standard scissor hoist, heavier bed frame, heavier bed crossmembers, etc. The payload with tongue weight is approx. 11500# GVW. We notice on this model Sure Trac's 20" standard sides - higher than most (most are 18"). The ramps on the deckover model , 90" length, are also a bit longer than those on the Sure Trac 7' low profiles, and most other manufactures 8' deckovers (most are 80"). This increased length helps ease the angle due to the higher bed height. The standard scissor hoist on this model is also from a higher grade, 100K pound tensile strength steel, making the hoist lighter and stronger than the competition. A AAAA ton-1 ton truck would be an ideal tow vehicle for this model trailer.

WHY IS THIS TRAILER A MORE COMPELLING VALUE THAN OTHERS? - Engineered for performance (We find many overbuild a dump trailer to get you to buy based on the number of bullet points it hits on a spec sheet. Others underbuild to hit a price point and take our all the goodies and finish quality to save a few hundred dollars. This trailer is neither in our opinion. It's a trailer that has been properly engineered with payload considerations in mind while reinforcing critical areas. This trailer exceeds our expectations in 3 main areas: quality welds, thoughtful and well implemented wiring, and a proper steel prep).- Powder Coat Finish (Many others advertise powdercoat, but it's all about the prep)- Welded Tubular Steel Main Frame (many use channel, which is ok, but tube is stronger per pound, resisting torsional buckling, giving a strong, lightweight trailer)- Underbody tool tray standard (gives additional storage space)- 2' high sides (many are only doing a 20" side with no provision such as a bulkhead to extend the sidewall easily)- Undermount ramps (Some still mount on the side. While lugging around 80+ pound ramps sounds like fun, I'll pass. This deckover dump also comes with longer 90" ramps, whereas some use the same 72-80" ramps found on their 7' wide low profile models).
- Sealed Brake Connection (Most not offered)
- Deep Cycle Marine Grade Battery (Not sure why, but occasionally this is an option as they come without a battery)
- Body Stiffeners on All Units (Adds lots of strength while adding little to no weight. Also, it's formed into the side, not welded on)
- Integrated Tarp Mount (If you buy a tarp kit, it doesn't look like an afterthought)
- EverLink High Performance Wiring Harness (We've seen some that do use a sealed harness and still have issues due to carelessness in how it routed)
- Slipper spring suspension (Some don't use slipper's, which is a more durable suspension. Some that do don't offer a wet bolt kit for ease of service).
