On 8000# axles, these are the full size 3 3/8" drums (same as a 10000# axle), not the non-SAE 12 1/4 x 2 1/4" that quite a few in the market are using (same as a 5/6/7000# axle, only have 65% as wide of a brake pad, and only about 1/4 of the brake lining thickness of this one, others use the 2.5" 'hybrid' 8000# axle).
