A CROSS BETWEEN AN EQUIPMENT TRAILER AND A HD UTILITY, THIS BAD BOY HAS LOTS OF FEATURES AND IDEAL FOR A COMMERCIAL USER. EQUIPPED WITH 7000# AXLES. Lots of heavy duty features not found on other trailers, including: Adjustable cast coupler (most will be a fixed and/or stamped coupler), 12000# drop leg jack, 6" channel full wrap tongue (cheaper ones will be 5", or be formed or angle iron), 3x3" tube top rail (some use angle iron), 3" structural channel crossmembers 16" O.C. (not 24" O.C, and not formed or angle iron), Metallic grey powder coat with primer (most don't use primer and will be black), spare tire mount (a fair amount do not have mounts on them), numerous built in tie downs (you'd be surprised as most don't come with tie downs), HD tubular bumper with integrated lights (some use a formed or angle bumper and surface mount lights), spring assisted ramps, Deluxe stand up ramps (wider, and with a mesh covered face for extra functionality), and a triple tube tongue (most will have just an A-frame design). It's an all-around versatile trailer for construction purposes and it can haul heavy materials and equipment like mini excavators or tractors with your ton truck. The U5X deck is 20' long and 83 inches wide, and it weighs 3,500 lbs, so you can haul close to 10,500 lbs with this trailer. Up front the U5X hooks to your vehicle with a 2 5/16" DEMCO EZ-Latch adjustable coupler, mounted to a 6" channel wrap tongue and a 5" x 3" x " steel angle mainframe. The treated wood floor deck is supported by 3" channel crossmembers spaced at 16" apart, and a 10k drop leg jack raises and lowers the front of the trailer. This trailer has a 16" tall 3" square tubing top-rail on the front and sides of the trailer, and has hooks and bullnose d-ring on the deck for easy tying down of cargo. Heavy-duty equipment standup ramps with built-in support knees make loading and unloading your equipment easy and safe. Two 7,000 lb electric brake axles paired with 235/80 10-ply Radial tires carry the U5X down the road. Along with steel diamond plate fenders, this trailer has clear LED running lights on the sides and in the rear bumper as well.
