THIS UNIT HAS A 10000# DEXTER TORSION AXLE UPGRADE, WHICH INCLUDES LARGER BRAKES, HEAVIER AXLE TUBE, 17.5" SOLID WHEEL 235/17.5 18" PLY TIRES, AND MORE.
The 20K tube tilt is a beast of a trailer, with no peers in its class, and is equipped with twin 10K torflex axles with 17.5 super single tires. The trailer is built with a heavy duty frame, while still maintaining a full 83" between the fenders and has an added standard option of fender guards. It is available with 2/4/6/8' stationary decks, with either 16' or 18' of tilt. Pull-type and gooseneck configurations are available.
Our take: B-B Trailers (Behnke Brothers), or better known as Behnke has the best feedback (look at the google reviews compared to most brands) of about any company you'll come across. Known for building mostly bigger air brake trailers, a lot of the quality, engineering, thought, steel prep/paint, and overall craftsmanship trickles down to these 'smaller' builds. Torsion suspension (most will be spring, if available probably a $700-800 upgrade or more), Oversize 235/17.5" 18-ply rubber (6005# rated, most of the industry is using 215/17.5 16-ply rated to 4800#, roughly a $100 per tire upgrade), pallet forks standard (usually you'll be a $400 or so option), 83" between fenders (with the larger drums, some will be 80-82"), Dexter axles (no Lippert's or imports), 12" O.C Crossmembers (usually 16" O.C.), HD fenders (11ga, many are 14ga), and HD ramps.
