The beavertail makes it ideal for larger equipment, such as most size compact tractors, small to mid-size bobcats, and other similar equipment. The beavertail model is a bit different than the straight deck model as it has a 3' beavertail and 5' stand up ramps, instead of a straight deck with 8' slide out ramps. This unit comes in a 15+3 and 17+3, 9900# GVW configurations. It features a 2x5" tube tongue and side rail, and a 5" channel mainframe. The tube tongue/side rail give the trailer as much strength as possible out of the 2720# curb weight, allowing approx. 8000# of available payload with tongue weight. This model is ideal for a customer looking to stay within a 9900# weight limit for registration purposes, and the minimum recommended tow vehicle would be a AAAAAA ton truck. The 32" deck height gives it a nicer load angle than some of the competition whom offer 36" deck height trailers. With standard stake pockets, rubrail, and 6 D-rings, it has more available tie-downs than mot similar trailers on the market. The trailer is recommended for light commercial applications.
