Unit is equipped with optional: Dexter 8000# Axles, 17.5" 18-ply tires, rear jackstands, and 3' High Sides. We feel this unit is different than most in the market as it has a lot of features not found in this size trailer, including: 8" 15# I-beam frame (most use a 8" 10# and heavier dumps typically use a 8" 13# beam, this is the same frame often used on a 20-22K super single dump), 6x20 Oversize Scissor hoist (most will be a dual piston or a 5x16 scissor which is 6.9 ton rating, a 6x20 scissor is an 11-ton), 10 gauge walls and floor (most will be 10-11 on the floor, and 11-14 on the wall), 12000# drop leg jack (cheaper ones will be a smaller 7000# jack), an adjustable cast coupler (some use an adjustable stamped coupler, cheap ones will be fixed stamped couplers), 3" channel crossmembers on 12" centers (most are 16-20" O.C, some are formed steel 20- 24" O.C.), has 7' HD ramps (most brands use standard 3" channel 3.5# per foot rated to 3500# per ramp, these ramps use a heavier 3" channel 5.1# per foot, ideal for heavier equipment), uses premium tires (currently using Westlake tires, subject to change, many are using a cheaper tire, often rainier, that also comes with less tread depth), double broke treadplate fenders, clear lens LED's lights that look sharp, sealed wiring harness, metallic grey paint with primer (metallic gray is sharp, better prep than most, and most aren't using a primer), deluxe tarp kit with a sail bar (aluminum hardware not black iron, has a sail bar to keep the tarp straight and easy to deploy), wireless remote (not aware of any doing this standard), a Noco 5amp hour charger (often a 1-2amp hour, typically not Noco), and includes rear jack stands for loading heavier equipment (some brands this is not available, others prep for it but the stands are optional), and a 3-way pump (power up/power down/gravity down, most are just power both ways or power up/gravity down. Power down is usually quicker, gravity down allows the bed to come down with a dead battery without loosing hydraulic fluid into the toolbox), and oversized toolbox (WAY bigger than most, gives room for straps, fluids, accessories, etc, well laid out, gas shock on lid, wireless and charger neatly mounted). It's great for a variety of uses, like hauling a skid steer or mini excavator, or mulch, topsoil, gravel or even busted concrete and heavy debris. Based on an 8" I-beam frame, the DJX includes heavy duty features like an industry-leading 6" scissor hoist. We house the KTI hydraulic pump and Interstate battery in a unique full-width, internally split toolbox. This protects the heart of the hydraulics system and provides a convenient place for chains and other important tools. You can also choose to outfit the DJX with 2', 3' or 4' tall Tuff Sides. These sides provide a massive 3" top cap surface that wraps partially down the side of the trailer. These top rails are then supported with flared steel side supports. Combined, they help form a bed that's extremely resistant to warping, dents, and damage. All of our dumps come equipped with tarp kits as a STANDARD feature. We build each DJX with a STANDARD GVWR of 14,000 lbs and twin 7K electric brake axles. You can configure these versatile dumps in lengths of 12', 14, and 16 with base weights ranging from 4,150 lbs to 4,550 lbs.
